Asparagus Amandine
Ingredients:
- ½ tbsp. salt
- ¼ cup almonds, slivered
- 1 to 2 pounds of fresh, cooked asparagus
- ¼ cup butter
- Drain cooked asparagus
- Melt butter in small skillet
- Cook almonds until golden brown, 5-7 min., low heat; stir constantly
- Remove almonds
- Add lemon juice and salt
- Pour over asparagus
Yield 6 servings.
